Robi Domingo

Robi Domingo
III BS Health Science

Bag Raiders have set to rummage through the bag of the famous Robi due to very high public demand. There's got to be more to his good looks and charm to have gained so much supporters. Let's find out!

The bag is not a mere endorsement, it's a personal choice: "I prefer backpacks than knapsacks because they're more comfortable. For me, I like bringing lots of gadgets, and as opposed to using a backpack, 'yung messenger bag medyo nakaka-strain sa shoulders."

And when he said he brings a lot of gadgets, he meant it. These are just several of the many techie things that Robi always takes with him to school; one essential item was left in the car--his iPad. Among the hefty amount of cables and wires in the photo above, Robi brings his Smart Bro dongle, cell phone chargers and extension cord for his devices. Seems like he's made sure he'll always stay connected, eh?

What's in the bag of this true blue former PBB Housemate

Clockwise from top: Cell phones, chargers, readings, ruler, two scientific calculators, shades, card board, pens, highlighter, market, Ricola candy, notepad, Sony VAIO laptop, Smart Bro internet dongle, Man's Search for the Meaning book, breath mints, Clinique Happy for Men perfume, laptop charger and extension cord

Notice "card board" somewhere in the list above? That's no trash or scratch, Robi actually writes on top of it; he doesn't like it when his writing marks through the next page or when the surface of the table is uneven. That's why he puts the board under whatever he writes on. O.C. huh?

Wonder why he has two calculators in one bag? One of those is older and that's what he always uses for school. But during sophomore year, a classic buster happened: the calculator was missing during his exam day. Robi bought a new one, and by the start of junior year his friends returned it to him. Turns out he left it somewhere and they found it. Now he brings both just for extra, "in case someone might need it," he shares.

Fun fact: Robi is one quick reader. Thinking it was required for Philo, he read the book,
Man's Search for the Meaning, in one day, only to find out it was not necessary. But since he got hooked to it, he decided to continue reading it anyway.

White much? Robi loves the colors white and blue; white especially for gadgets. "It's clean-looking and I don't know, there's something in white that makes you look intelligent."

As for the stickers you spot on his things, they are not price tags. Robi labels his possessions with his name --- impressively organized for a young man!
